really love this trench coat. It has more classic features making it go for more than one season. The sleeves on this jacket are straight. I love the stand up collar, it adds a lot of flare to this jacket. The buttons have a wood look to them, again keeping it trendy yet classic. And they are nice big round buttons. The belt is a great touch. It looks great belted or not belted actually. There are two pockets on the outside, so if you are using it as a jacket they will be great to keeps hands warm or stash your phone in it. They are a slash pocket, one of the pictures I took I have my hand in the pocket for reference.
I wear a US size 12/14. I'm 5'5" and weigh 161 lbs. This is a size L and it fits true to size.
This jacket works great with jeans, slacks, dresses or skirts. I will pair it with a tank under it and grey slacks for the office in the winter wearing not as a coat but as my top. So the versatility on this piece is really great.
The fabric on this jacket is 100% Polyester. Laundry care is super easy, Machine wash cold on gentle and then tumble dry low. I will most likely hang it to dry. Just stays better longer and means less ironing.
This trench coat is SUPER cute in person. The oversized fit gives it that effortless, trendy look without feeling sloppy, and the belted waist gives you the option to add more shape when you want it.
Sizing felt intentionally roomy, which works really well for the style and also leaves space for layering underneath. The material is lightweight and comfortable, making it a great option for fall or milder weather when you want an extra layer without something heavy.
I really like the stand collar and longer length because they make it look more polished and expensive than a basic lightweight jacket. It is easy to dress up with boots and a nicer outfit or wear casually with jeans and sneakers.
Overall, this is such a cute, versatile coat and one of those pieces that makes a simple outfit look instantly more put together.
I'm 5'4", size 6, wide shoulders and got a small since it's oversized. I think it fits pretty good. The material is very thin and stiff, similar to a chef's jacket so I think the description is regarding the trench coat style, rather than an actual coat. It's more like a jacket than a coat. It's enough to stop a mild breeze though. The material is stiff enough for the belt to give that cinching effect at the waist which I think is really cute.
